Riding the excitement from the FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) last month, the US Team is hoping to capture Gold at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final in Barcelona this weekend.
Staged at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, the Nations Cup will bring some of the world’s most accomplished equestrians from Germany, Austria, Canada, France, Great Britain, Brazil, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland – and of course – the United States.
Laura Kraut helped lead the US to victory in Tryon and now hopes to follow suit in Barcelona. Riding for the US Team alongside Kraut will be long-time customers Lucy Deslauriers, Andrew Kocher, Jessica Springsteen, and FarmVet Sponsored Rider Alex Granato.
Competition begins Friday, October 5 with the first qualifying round. The best eight teams during this round will move on to the final on Sunday, October 7. The remaining 10 teams from Friday’s qualifying round will compete on Saturday in the Longines Challenge Cup.
