FAQ’s
These responses are based on client reports from the hundreds of equine professionals who have used Pro Chill.
Q: I currently use Supreme 90 minutes before I ride. How does Pro Chill compare?
A: Extreme and Supreme are designed to encourage calming and to create the feeling of a push ride. These pastes are quick acting and used in combination with the Calming System can help manage even the spiciest horses.
If you are using Supreme to create a calm, relaxed horse that is quieter than its baseline, we recommend continuing to use Supreme.
Pro Chill’s 15cc gel allows your horse to maintain their usual responsiveness and bring their focus back to the rider. Like Extreme and Supreme, Pro Chill is quick acting but builds effect with repeated dosing.
Q: I currently use Training Day+ pellets every day. Should I use Pro Chill with it, or instead of it, for an event?
A: The formulas of Training Day+ Pellets and Pro Chill use completely different ingredient structures. Adding Pro Chill to Training Day+ pellets will further enhance relaxation and focus.
We recommend trying this combination together at home to ensure that you achieve the desired response.
Q: I always use Gold paste the night before and morning of my ride. Is there a reason I would use Pro Chill instead?
A: Gold Paste has the most calming effect of our long-acting pastes for horses requiring maximum attitude support. Sane & Sound Max Paste’s triple action approach to calming also creates a significant sense of calm for an extended period.
Pro Chill’s small size and easy delivery make it ideal when you want a more focused, more natural horse who maintains his usual response to the rider.
Q: How is Pro Chill different from Pro Focus?
A: Pro Focus does not have the tendency to build with additional doses. Pro Chill’s effects stack with repeated use.
How to Use Pro Chill
For maximum effect give one to two doses the night before and one to two doses the morning of performance. One tube contains two doses. Effects begin within two hours and are cumulative with additional doses. Adjust for desired results. Pro Chill is compatible with any Perfect Prep EQ™ formula. For an even greater calming effect, use Pro Chill as Step 3 in the Perfect Prep EQ™ Calming System.
Because every horse has unique challenges, Perfect Products created a system of calming formulas to help you bring the very best horse to your performance every time. Use Pro Chill alone or as part of the Perfect Prep EQ™ Calming System.
We strongly encourage you to evaluate the effects of Perfect Prep before your event to find the best product or combination of products to suit your horse’s needs.

Your suggestion of trying the combo at home for results. How is that helpful when as you mention, “to maintain the usual responses at home”? It’s at a competition, away from home, that I need that ‘at home response.

We recommend trying it at home first simply to ensure you obtain a desired result, instead of trying something brand new at a show.
