If you were to guess where one of the premier equine rehabilitation and training facilities in the United States is located, I’d bet you wouldn’t choose the state of Washington. Tucked in the lush hills of East Redmond, this stately 100-acre compound is a horse utopia. As you pass through the gates and wind down manicured paths, the property is reminiscent of many Bluegrass facilities. Pegasus Training and Rehabilitation offers a full array of leading-edge equine services. Their services range from breaking, rehab, training, and everything in between!
The Owner
Pegasus realizes the dreams of owner Dr. Mark Dedomenico, replete with a leading spa for horses, the latest training methods, and expert staff who share the passion for the equine athlete. Dr. Dedomenico has an impressive background as a distinguished heart surgeon. His medical efforts have played a vital role in developing life-changing tools and procedures, including coronary bypass surgery. He has been involved in the horse racing industry for 40+ years and was inducted into the Washington Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 2017.
